This new Inka Jungle to Machu Picchu tour is the most amazing and exciting trip you can do in a Peru tour to MACHU PICCHU BIKING AND HIKING. This is a full adventure experience among the mountains, valleys, rivers and crossing small’s villages, Coca and coffee plantations, and lots of varied native fruits. You will walk on the old real Inka Trail which connects to the lost city of the Inkas. We will take also a relaxing bath in the hot springs. This trip definitely is considered a real adventure route to Machu Picchu where we will observe the daily living of Andean and local people


DIA  01    CUSCO - MÁLAGA PASS - SANTA MARIA

We’ll pick you up from your hotel or hostel in Cusco between 7:30 and 8:00am and then depart in our private transport through the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our downhill adventure begins at approximately 11:30am at Málaga Pass, where from an altitude of 4320 meters above sea level we’ll enjoy sweeping views overlooking both the Sacred Valley and the jungle. We’ll have our gloves and helmets, receive a quick briefing from our experienced guide, and the set off! We’ll race down trails passing changing landscapes, starting with views of the snow-capped Andes, including the impressive snowy peak of Verónica (5316 meters above sea level). We’ll stop to enjoy the views of  Alfamayo before setting off for a guided visit of the recently discovered Inca ruins of Huamanmarca Archeological Complex, where among other features you’ll see the usnu ritual site. From Huamanmarka we’ll continue by bus to Santa Maria (1130m), where we’ll have our lunch. En route to this charming small town, we’ll pass by increasing greenery and waterfalls as we begin to delve into the jungle landscape with its abundant plant and animal life, which begins at 1500 meters above sea level. We’ll have our dinner in a local restaurant, go over the next day’s itinerary, and spend the night in a basic guesthouse.



DAY 02 SANTA MARÍA – SANTA TERESA

After an invigorating early breakfast at 6:00am in Santa Maria, we’ll embark on a walking trail filled with natural vegetation as dawn rises. During today’s walk you’ll be able to see tropical birds, fruit trees, orchids, coca and coffee crops, orchids, large rivers, and with luck, some of the exotic animals of the region. Not only is the landscape here truly overwhelming, but we’ll also walk along an original Inca trail which stretches for about a half mile, winding around precipitous drops. We’ll continue the descent until reaching our lunch site, the very small tropical riverside town of Qellomayo, around noon.

After lunch and a rest, we’ll follow the Vilcanota River towards the town of Santa Teresa (1650 meters above sea level) at about 1:00pm, arriving two hours later. You’ll have the option to visit to the Cocal Mayo Hot Springs. We’ll have dinner in a local restaurant at approximately 7:00pm and spend the night in simple but comfortable lodging.



DAY  03  SANTA TERESA – HYDROELECTRIC – AGUAS CALIENTES
(Zip line-canopy optional: +29 dollars or 89 Soles)

We’ll enjoy our breakfast in the town of Santa Teresa at 6:00am, embarking around 7:30am along an Inca trail that we’ll follow en route to the Hydroelectric Station. During this day’s walk we’ll pass hanging bridges and oroyas, which are a method of crossing rivers and ravines using a cable and hanging baskets, and see many colorful butterflies and parrots. We’ll have lunch en route at noon, possibly at the hydroelectric. Afterwards, it’s three hours more to the small but vibrant town of Aguas Calientes, where we’ll arrive at 4:00pm and accommodate ourselves in our hostel. You’ll have the afternoon free to explore the town, and then we’ll have dinner in a local restaurant at around 7:30pm. In the evening there’ll be a talk with the guide to arrange the next day’s schedule.


DAY 04  MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

We’ll have a very early breakfast at around 5:00am in our hostel. Afterwards it’ll be time to begin the 1 hour and 20 minute ascent to Machu Picchu Archeological Complex. Those who prefer to sleep long will have the option to take the 25 minute bus if preferred. The guided portion of our visit will last for approximately 2 hours, with the start time depending on whether, if you’ve opted to climb Huayna Picchu,  it is recommended to book in advance, preferably one month beforehand, with an additional cost of  $10 dollars.there is a limited allowance of  400 persons per day to climb Huayna Picchu. After the tour you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu independently and take photos.

We’ll return to Aguas Calientes depending of your train . (Lunch on this day is not included in the program, so may choose whichever of the many little restaurants of Aguas Calientes is to your liking.) Between 18:30 and 18:45 pm we’ll catch the train from Aguas Ollantaytambo Station, where our transport will be waiting to take us to the city of Cusco. We’ll arrive at about 23:00 pm and drop you back off a block away to the main square of Cusco.
